I lived in Yokosuka, Japan for two months teaching aboard an aircraft carrier in 2011. Near the end of my term, I was aboard the carrier when the Tōhoku Earthquake triggered a tsunami that ultimately led to the Fukushima Daiichi disaster (notice how dark Shibuya is and the rescue team from Mongolia). Shortly afterwards, I traveled to Kyoto. This was before I had a proper camera, hence sometimes average or low image quality.
